I'd like to set this up to be my homepage and use it as if it was a cms. (as I only need a simple page for the front end)
Would anyone be able to guide me through doing this?
I assume it's possible as I have read guides for doing it with the normal portal but I'd rather ask before attempting to do anything. (I have a habit of messing things up)
Really nice portal! will be a great little front page for my site.

Example
Portal = Home
-------
Home > Forum (portal in my root folder)
-edit-
How do you control what's show where?
I am also using this as a small front page section - I kept the blocks and edited in the portal templates to get the look I wanted. It combines with existing portal plugins so I use the first plug in to set number of announcements etc, and the set up of the advanced portal for my page.
this is my forum

It looks nice, I like it.
How do i change the character set limit before it says "read more"?
Almost all of the images are broken, any idea of how to fix this?
