Ok, I recently bought CreateBB from Nickman. I moved it to my server and am now offering web hosting to all that need it. We will soon also be offering forum hosting for those who don't want the technicalities of setting up their own forum and worrying about FTP's, SQL's, security and such.

Our accounts are set-up manually by me or any other staff member online. "Why not have it automated?" you may ask... Well, to ensure the best possible service we would prefer it if users got exactly what they want from us. Seeing a large page of account types can be difficult to understand, and limiting. Instead we want to know exactly what it is you want, and can create a account specifically tailored to your needs!

To order a plan, simply make a ticket at http://createbb.com/support with the Department set to "New Accounts". Then click the link ("Defualt Plan" or "custom Plan" at the top of the form to get an instant template to fill in


Why do we ask what you're hosting? Well, as our server's are located in the USA, we have to conform to copyright laws. We simply want to know that you are not going to be hosting any Warez, hacking or otherwise illegal material on your site. This is designed to benefit everyone.

So we have to pay for this or?

Wasn't CreateBB a free host before?

We offer paid web hosting, and are in the process of creating the free forum host side. The paid host is desinged for those who want more features

Wow, lovely. No TOS by the looks.

You may want to create one pronto, otherwise I suspect you'll end up with more than a few troubles. Are people entitled to pro-rated refunds? What about other illegal content such as child pornography? What are your rights/what will you do if someone fails to pay a bill?

Seriously, please please please _think_ - spend the time to create a brand with a good ToS and you'll do well as a business. You evidently haven't even thought over that, which is quite worrying, and thus my concern over the potentially reduced longevity of your business.

Yes, but this is my point. You may have thought about them, but you're already advertising a service with very few conditions. You have to outline what you will and will not do in black and white - the last thing you want is trouble on your hands.

I find it frustrating when people just "create a host" without thinking about even creating a site for it, or for that matter, a basic set of terms. People are going to be spending their good money on your service, so make sure they know their rights.
