Well, I just upgraded my site to php 5, and the version is 5.1.4, so will I be having a problem when you only support 5.2+????

Also, I discovered that when people upgrade and are using DennisTT's PM on registration mod, that it isn't compatible with PHP 5, so you might want to deactivate it before upgrading. At least that was what I had to do.

Judel, like chris boulton said we'll provide compatibility for 5.1 and 5.0
That's cool, my host supports it all.
I think mine does... I'll have to check that.
My host is 4.3.11 i think Sad

I'll see if i can get an upgrade for 5.x cuz i think i'll end up using MyBB for my new site...
is that
mean mybb 1.4 well release before February 2008 ?!

It will be released when it's ready.
short and enogh answere thanks mate,
so I don't asking for date now, but if I get it right
the announcement mean that all the future releases will work only with php 5.x
and that not include from 1.2.x to 1.4.x
please correct me once more if I'm not getting it right

Chris Boultons statement does not mean 1.4 won't be coming next year. Again like I said it will come when its ready
From my understanding; releases after the initial 1.4 release that contain new features will be coded without regard for PHP 4 (of course, after February 2008)
