It's been quite a few months since the last MyBB Update is there something holding back the next update? When do you guys consider the MyBB Github Repo ready for the next update?
Generally updates happen every 3-4 months unless something bad happens with a release that forces a faster release cycle, so it's really not all that strange for .13 to not be out yet. Aug 22 would be 3 months.
We aim for every 2 months, but this update has taken some testing. The next version also aims to iron out any compatibility issues with PHP 7.2, so we've been watching for updates form the PHP team to make sure we're compatible.

But it's almost always every three. Wink
Don't worry about the update, once it is there you will get notification on your admin cp Smile

Yep, we normally stop accepting major PRs after 2 months, then it takes a month to get everything else done.
100 issues yet to be addressed. Big Grin

New versions always leave a backlog; currently all unresolved issues are assigned the next milestone on release - we might change that practice and assign milestones to issues that we're fairly certain will end up in target versions so the listings and percentages displayed on GitHub are more meaningful.
I really wish updates happened a bit more often so we get more frequent bug fixes.
