First time user of this plugin, and..
I uploaded all of the files, and I got this error when going to: yoursite.com/admin/index.php/?module=config-plugins.
I didn't get the chance to activate it, all my plugins are replaced with the error.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function myalerts_is_activated() in /home/yoursite/public_html/inc/plugins/jones/core/Alerts.php on line 218
Have you uploaded any version of myalerts?

GitHub. It's an issue with PHP 5.3 I've missed with the last release.

No, the latest version is developed for 1.8. You could try it but I doubt it'll work without edits.
Its Not working with 1.6.16.
