1) You need a plugin for the avatar but not sure if you can add the variable onto the sidebar last posts.

2) This is a settting in your ACP
ACP > Configuration > Show Thread Options > Maximum Avatar Dimensions in Posts

3) Depends what you want the quotes of? Posts or just text of your own.
