Your theme isn't valid HTML Sad

Might want to decide if your using XHTML or HTML5 since AFAIK <header>, <nav> etc are HTML5 elements but if you validate as HTML5 you get 250 errors.

Yes i know Validation isn't life or death buts it's annoying Wink and usually results in issues when you go to change something.

I hope you realize that the validator does not test the website from your point of view, but from their server's, which does not have the style installed. Also, just like Tom said, it only checks for HTML errors and has no regard for CSS.

um i'm not testing the userscript/stylish theme lol i was testing this THEME... THE ONE THAT IS LIVE ON community.mybb.com

So please don't try and make me look stupid as i am clearly not.

EDIT: i really like the dark style, i think it should be included along with the light style in the 1.8 build provided the creator of the dark style is happy for that ofcourse.

No forum software I can think of comes with a dark and light style out of the box. People looking for a darker style should just download one and use it imo.

Believe me, offending you was not my intention, so I aplogize if I gave you that impression. However, as your post regarding this theme's HTML validity came directly after I posted the style, it left me with a question mark.

Fair enough, However the way forums work is you "QUOTE" the person your replying to, I did not quote you therefore was not replying to you Smile

So what your saying is "no other software has it why should this" well by doing stuff different is how new software is made and preferred if everyone took your answer there would be nothing new ever!
We will not be making any further changes to the 1.8 theme.

If anyone wants a dark theme, they are more than welcome to create one and release it for use once 1.8 is released.

I'm assuming this doesn't include bug fixes though Wink like this 1

In the UserCP (although technically this isn't a MyBB core feature)

same issue here.
The above issue will be fixed shortly. It's not in the core so will be fixed on your boards when Matt updates his MySuport plugin.

Surely you don't think I have the same opinion about every aspect of forum software. Toungue

Also this is MyBB, bloating it doesn't sound like a good idea.

I hardly call this modern. It isnt even responsive.. This is 2014 not 2005.
