How did you upgrade it?

If nothing appeared after activation, probably it's because the plugin couldn't modify your templates. So you should do it manually. But hopefully it's so easy!
Open "Index" template and add {$ps_header_index} after {$header} and also add {$ps_footer_index} after {$forums}.
Now open "Portal" template and add {$ps_header_portal} after {$header} and add {$ps_footer_portal} before {$footer}.
That's all! You also can enable global tag option and use <ProStats> tag whenever you want.

But anyway, this is that old version you wanted:

thanks a lot dear..now this one is ok
Hi

I would love to have this plugin installed, but it just doesn't show up.

I installed in the right place. Activated on the plugins section.

Configured to use the footer on the settings.

Change the index plugin with the following:

Quote:<html>
<head>
<title>{$mybb->settings['bbname']}</title>
{$headerinclude}
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
lang.no_new_posts = "{$lang->no_new_posts}";
lang.click_mark_read = "{$lang->click_mark_read}";
// -->
</script>
</head>
<body>
{$header}

{$itph}

{$fbconnect_chatbox}
{$ps_header_index}
{$forums}
{$ps_footer_index}

{$itpf}
{$boardstats}

<dl class="forum_legend smalltext">
<dt><img src="{$theme['imgdir']}/on.gif" alt="{$lang->new_posts}" title="{$lang->new_posts}" style="vertical-align: middle; padding-bottom: 4px;" /></dt>
<dd>{$lang->new_posts}</dd>

<dt><img src="{$theme['imgdir']}/off.gif" alt="{$lang->no_new_posts}" title="{$lang->no_new_posts}" style="vertical-align: middle; padding-bottom: 4px;" /></dt>
<dd>{$lang->no_new_posts}</dd>

<dt><img src="{$theme['imgdir']}/offlock.gif" alt="{$lang->forum_locked}" title="{$lang->forum_locked}" style="vertical-align: middle;" /></dt>
<dd>{$lang->forum_locked}</dd>
</dl>
<br style="clear: both" />
{$stcp_index}{$footer}
</body>
</html>

But it still doesn't work. tried to un-install the "Index Top Posters" plugin but that didn't work either.

Am I missing something here?
Hi,
Your template is okay.
Please recheck that...
- you are using the same theme that you quoted its index codes here.
- ProStats not to be disabled/invisible due to its settings.

Also you can give me a temporary admin account (via email) to check it out.
Thanks for update...

I have just one theme installed. I added a "test" text to the template and it showed up in the page.

The current settings are:
Activate: Yes
Show in index: Yes
Show in portal: Yes
Activate global tag: No
Hide from search bots: No
Ignore list: No
Table position in index and portal: Footer
The rest of settings are all default

I considered using the "Activate global tag", but I'm afraid I haven't understood well how it works to add it. Considering that adding it to the template didn't work, I imagine that it won't work as well the other way.

What else should I check?

thanks for the quick reply
Emerson

To do that, you'll need to enable global tag and then put this tag wherever in your index template: <ProStats>

I'm not sure Emerson, but maybe it's because of missing ProStats' templates. They should be in "Global Templates" and if they aren't, you'll need to reinstall ProStats and check them again.

PS. The name of ProStats' templates begins with "prostats" (as you can see in attached screen-shot).
