@ Mybb central you pay $5 and get access to everything for a year, but even if you un subscribe you get what you downloaded to keep forever - its yours.

You pay for a subscription, not for each plugin

You're not paying for anything twice. For $5, you get MyNetwork (to keep on your forum, even if you do unsubscribe), support, more plugins and access to all releases (security, maintainence and feature) for 1 year. You'll only need to re-subscribe if you still want support, other MyNetwork plugins and releases. I don't see what you're paying twice for there...?
