Sorry for missing too long. I've been working on Hoteditor V.4.1. The latest version was released yesterday. You can take a look at demo here

In this version, Hoteditor will output both HTML and BBCode. If you want to integrate Hoteditor to MyBB then select code output BBCode. By this way you just need to replace textarea with Hoteditor, no more to worry about security issuse.

I haven't integrate Hoteditor V4.1 to MyBB yet. I will do it next week. I believe if you know PHP and javascript then you will know how to make them work together (visit our site http://www.ecardmax.com/index.php?step=Hoteditor - download Hoteditor zip file and take a look at source file phpdemo.php to find out how to handle bbcode output.
