Well, let me explain what I have done: I grabbed the richedit folder and the other related php file(s), I edited them (removed two buttons, and perfectly disabled their functionality from the original code) and renamed the "smileys" folder into "smilies" and made sure that it applied in the code ... I made sure it worked fine (debugged). And installed HotEditor 4.2 and applied all the code editing to the files and templates (even tried using YOUR own replacements) and it still doesn't work.
Well, now, I am sure 100% it's related to templates.
I uninstalled (almost) all the template edits related tp HotEditor and posting seems to work again, there's one template I didn't remove, the quickreply ... and it DID work, amazingly. =\

It doesn't matter the lenght of what I enter as a message...
Anyideas? I'm assuming I went wrong when intergrating it...

should i have them there? are they the ones i needed to edit? based on the instructions, it says to edit the ORIGINAL templates.....
Well, all I frankly had to do is uninstall all my themes and revert back every theme, then insta HotEditor (with YOUR template edits and recaching everything, and I'm off to go!
