You should use standard mybb icons on index - this mod have some fixes to forum indicators.

the counter not counts down automatically when I open the corresponding contribution . but only if I open another page . should this be so ? i use version 1.5.0
I just installed this plugin.
I don't see a counter.
I see the "View Unread Posts" link, and it returns results. Just not a counter next to it.
Check settings - in default counter is active only for board index.
Counter works now. I didn't have to change anything, it just worked this morning. Thanks for the response though, I can check this if I have issues in the future.
I did have the default "index.php" for the "subpages with active unread posts counter posts".
