Very interesting. But I won't be using it.

dont think a ss is needed, the only thing i get is a white page with

"Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /public/inc/class_plugins.php on line 101"

It works on my server.

Yes, I use this version.

I've tested new version on 1.6.4 and 1.6.5 testing boards - both on polish and english language, both on clean forum and with users and posts.

Hummm.... then must be some of the mods i use together your mod doing it

I use 1.6.5 when activate plugin, "unread post" link not appear in index, i checked "Template: header_welcomeblock_member" and "<!-- UNREADPOSTS_LINK -->" is there.
can you help me?

Have you any unread posts? There is option to hide link when there aren't any unread posts.
