I'll definitely add that. It's pretty easy to do but I'll do it properly rather than doing that stupid "insert gids in this box" as it annoys the heck out of me having to do that ;P

Are you going to use normal settings or group ones?
I'll add them as proper group ones as I have done in MyStatus and add a new tab to the modify usergroup page.
I've today been working on tidying up the output to make it look a little better too. I'll add the usergroup permissions tomorrow and finish tidying up the display.

Just have a general question. I see and as we all know, MyAlerts uses jQuery to fetch notifications and maybe something more (I guess?). So if I am not wrong, Facebook does fetch unread alerts with ajax or it uses something else?
Yes, it will do more. Facebook do I believe use an AJAX request to grab the notifications when you open the menu just as I currently do (I do it via jQuery as it provides a handy $.get() function for making AJAX requests simple).
How's the release of this plugin going? Is it ready to be published on a real board now?
