You have to use the Debug link at the bottom of every page when logged in as admin. It should show up at the bottom of that page.


An announcement that Easy Install has been upgraded to version 1.2. Upgrade procedure:

• If you have Advanced Plugins installed, just click the "Auto Install" button
  
• If you don't have Advanced Plugins installed, deactivate the old EI, upload the new version, and reactivate.

Hellow, I've a problem with your plugin on my board (http://chat2b.be/forum) WHen I uploaded it, and I went check the plugin managar.. it seems that it was'nt working. Trying to deactivate it, and re-activiate it again:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/httpd/vhosts/chat2b.be/httpdocs/forum/inc/plugins/ei.php on line 336

Which plugin are you talking about? EI, Advanced Plugins? I'm going to guess EI since this is the one most people have trouble with.

What was the problem when you activated it? Did you only have a problem when you deactivated and reactivated?

EI, indeed.

The problem is: it does NOT work. It doesn't do anything.
When activate and re-activate it, it gives an error.

Upload fresh copies of global.php and plugins.php to your admin folder.
Give 755 (or 777) permissions to the admin folder (and if it's a folder in your main domain eg domain.com/forums) and admin/global.php and admin/plugins.php.
Reactivate EI. You should see an extra column in the plugin manager if everything went ok.

I'm guessing you are trying to install version 1.2?

The copies of global.php and plugins.php are newly uploaded yesterday.

So, this line: $plugin_ei->install($ei_update_1_1);

Ah ok. I know the problem. That was a line I left in for testing purposes. Just comment that line out, or delete it is probably best.

EDIT: You should follow the procedure above to remove all traces before trying to activate it again.

I am having problems with the PayPal mod,

I am trying to turn it off but get the error:-
mySQL error: 1091
Can't DROP 'canusepaypal'. Check that column/key exists
Query: ALTER TABLE mybb_adminoptions DROP canusepaypal

What can I do?

How do I fully remove the mod? As when i deactivate it, It does not remove
