No rounds, once a universe starts, it never ends, unless they go through with the shuffle. (They have about 500 universes in total if you count languages)

So... do you eventually win? Or is it like king of the hill, you just fight to stay on top?

Or is there no score?

Yup, king of the hill pretty much. You can join alliances to grow bigger faster. Usually the top (when i played) are about in that 10-40kk point range, you get 1 point for every 1000 reasources you spend and keep.
