If it doesn't show up on the plugin menu, then it's not the php version error. Are you sure you installed the plugin correctly, like did you move the file(s) to the correct directory?

If your php version isn't updated, when you click Install in the plugin menu, it will lead you to a blank page. (I think)
Hey there, I was wondering. How can I use this program on a external .php file? Im still using MyBB, but like its not a thread, rather a custom mybb page.

I had this problem, but it was because my server wasn't running php 5.4...

okay, i have tested another plugin... i have set php to 5.5 today remember...
