Thanks! We installed it. Tags work great, unfortunately it's not alerting people. On the View Alert Settings page a checkbox that is checked with no description appears as well.

you clicked in [install] ?

will alert function work in DVZ shoutbox too ?

as mention before tag is working fine but it is not alerting anyone . same problem i am facing . yes i click on install button

2ndly will it always show @ mark with every tag ?

Something seems to be going wrong here because when I overwrite the files to upgrade, I'm presented with a nice white page.

Removing just the main plugin file fixes it, so this is odd. PHP version isn't an issue either:
