I have the same problem as Diminished but in my case I get this blank error when I try to uninstall the plugin.

I'm not sure, if I miss something, but how can I get this Plugin actually to work? Ok it works like, if I mention a member with @"user" but it doesn't work with @user. How can I get this to work?
Is there also a autocomplete function yet, which doesn't work for me either? (I just know, it was mentioned and wanted)

Install Automention by martec or try other plugin "MentionMe" of Wildcard.
