After the update, mentions mess with other codes if there are many of them in a single thread. Also when I click on uninstall on MyAlerts integration when I wanted to test, nothing happens.

When I deactivate the plugin, issue resolves. I am switching back to older version till it's fixed.

Edit: I was using 1.0.1 and I had php 7.0.16
Edit2: Sent you screenshot showing the issue, basically sometimes mentions removes the following character in code - when that character is a part of a code, it causes bad issues. I noticed that when I add dot right after mention, instead of part of another code it removes the dot.
Version 1.0.2
  • fixed MyAlerts location uninstalling

Upgrading (from 1.0.1): Overwrite files, reactivate the plugin.

Additional information, when simply copy and paste all content of thread all mentions except 5-6 of them gets fixed. First I couldn't understand what's causing them to be broken, by broken I mean those mentions remove the next character in code and if that character is a part of another bbcode it breaks stuff (imagine image code not starting with [img] but img].) So I simply added . right after them and noticed it instead of breaking codes, it just removes the dot.

Then I noticed that all mentions that are still having issue have 2 spaces before them, unlike other mentions that have 1 space. The thing is I could quarantine the issue (I have a post with one list row with one mention in it and if I remove one of 2 spaces before the mention it gets fixed) BUT I can't reproduce it in another post, because after I post one of spaces gets removed, while in original post 2 spaces stay.
I've got a brand new MyBB 1.8.14 install and I copied the install files to /inc

I always get a 500 webserver error on plugin >> plugin updates page. Any ideas whats wrong? Other plugins working fine and when I remove this plugins files the plugin updater page works fine again.

Thanks, while i understand it has very high requirements. Just crashing on anything under php 7.0 is not very good really. At the very least it should give mention of this requirements in the admin section and not crash. Just trying to avoid people getting in the same situation as me this morning with a broken plugin system.
^ Thank You for the concern. not sure that such coding can be done easily.
however the plugin's description here clearly mentions the requirements.
Thanks a lot! It works so good Smile
MyBB 1.8.14
PHP 7.1.12
MySQLi 10.1.24

When hitting "Install & Activate", it doesn't do so and just gives a yellow message, but with no text. Any ideas?

That would probably be the broken message when PluginLibrary is missing - uploading the file should fix the problem.
It will be addressed in the next release.
