hopefully Devilshakerz is busy working on adding MyAlerts and autcomplete to dvz mentions.

dvz mentions has come a very long way. I'm impressed.

It will still take some time to make the autocomplete module work everywhere (it has to juggle between simple textareas and SCEditor ones & its editable document elements), however the MyAlerts integration part (including the possibility to load custom extensions, like mentions in a shoutbox) is working well and is likely to be released in the meantime soon

I use MHeditor on my forum. We're a large forum with close to a million posts if you want a huge board testing it.

mheditor is very good...
