I know I work with MyBB, but.... WOW. I love the new look. I will be waiting to see if the default theme itself delivers like the website...
All they did was make it.. smoother.
Looks alot cleaner and alot nicer.
I will set up a test board upon release for everyone who wants to poke around.
I hope the MyBB crew responds with some info on MyBB 2.0 to keep us MyBB guys on the MyBB boat!

This raises the bar imho. I also believe that they are following phpbb3 oddly enough.
Apa, 2.0 isn't going to be out for awhile, 1.6 is the next version, so don't get to happy about 2.0, im sure they won't be releasing info about it anytime soon, 1.6 is what they are focusing on at the moment.
But 1.6 is supposed to be a very mild "upgrade". Not very exciting considering the release of VB 4.0 is taking the spotlight.
Ya, but 2.0 is suppose to be re-written and that's going to be at least 2 years to be completed, i think after 1.6 is out they will start focusing on 2.0.
