Yeah I know it won't have any major performance impact, I removed it as it was generating too many entries in cpanel error log and page speed tests tools keeps bothering about 404 link.

I tried reinstalling but it didn't help (the Arcade)

Yes, it works as an arcade.I just need to add the menu link. Like next to the portal button.
You need to edit header template for BootBB theme and find this line:
<ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right">
After this line, you can add:
{$menu_arcade}
To make it look nicer, you can find a font awesome icon for it and format the link like the other links of BootBB. (in this case instead of
{$menu_arcade} you will need to use the actual html code for the link.

After you download the theme, there is an instructions file where you can find how to add different colors (including dark mode). Every member can select his preferred color. There is no automatic way to switch between a light and dark color at night.
