Ok. I have successfully installed it with only one minor file modification.
Find on line 303:
cacheforums();
And replace with:
cache_forums();
Well, I wish MyBB guys offered betas at least to all modification makers.
I run the mod for 2 months in a bigger mybb at

I'm going the 'gmail' way (literally) so can't really say when we'll have a final release. But ofcourse new features will be added in next betas.

Why don't you give IIS support too.
Simply because I neither have IIS on my laptop nor IIS natively contains a URL rewriting module. There are 3rd party url rewriters which can be installed but I don't think users would want to do that.
I can support you a domain with IIS server.
