still need help. I am confused Sad
Quote:yep nofollow is even better solution .... hey what about that #disallow showthread ? What about # .... I don't see the point of that ?

I added it keeping in mind new boards, but when I thought about old boards having many incoming links to older threads, I dropped the idea and commented it out. Safe to remove Smile
I installed it on my forums, it's working well. I was indexed already in google, yahoo and msn, but I am sure it will help in the long run.

Hi, I get the following messages when I try to merge two threads. I didn't have it before installing the SEO-friendly urls:

"
The URL for the thread to be merged seems to be invalid or empty. Please copy the exact URL into the textbox.
Please go back and try again.
"

Please let me know how to fix it.
Thanks,
GSA
anyone???

Thanks,

well, please post issues with a seo mod at the right location. Either here:

http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=10049

or better yet, at http://spicefuse.com ..

Currently, there is no such implementation to identify the seo'ed links and use them in merge feature. For that, you can try copying the link from "linear mode" or "threaded mode" which uses a native myBB link.

@MODS: Please merge it with - http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=10049

I have tested SEO with other plugins but there is a problem..
We can't use both SEO and "Thank" plugin..

While "Thank" plugin and SEO are both active, a user cannot thank for a message because it says "there is not such a message in the forum" because of the SEO address..

Can we solve this problem?
I now have this mod installed on my site, and it works smoothely.

Expect to see it on MyBB Templates when it's opened. Smile
i will wait untill the final release comes out where i dont have to create any htc files or whatever it is.

I believe you'll need to create a .htaccess file anyway.
