Can you successfully disable this plug in without breaking anything? I have been using this mod for a long time and have a lot of SEO'd links within the forum.

yes you can, but you will lose all your indexed pages in search engines!

Thanks for the fast response. Only reason I asked was because of the lack of the merge function. I found the workaround and it's all good.

Is any fix for this issue? I have installed 1.2.12 and SEO 1.0b9, but this bug is still not fixed.
No fix, but there is a workaround. Copy in showthread.php?tid=10049 and replace the tid with the real thread's.
SEO 1.1 Beta 1 is released which is compatible with MyBB 1.4. New features are as follows:
- Made compatible with version 1.4.
- Added feature to have directory structure such as /forum-name/topic-name-t-xy.html
- Added it as an option to convert users urls to /username-u-xy.html or members/username-xy.html
