Well, I won't be doing it if Tomm's comes out in time and fits my needs (eg: it's easily extensible) as there's no point as I use MyNetwork already personally. Also, thanks for the rep. The comment made me chuckle.

Tomm is finishing his during the 1.8 beta.

I thought he might be. I;ll wait and see how it runs out before starting anything then. I have plenty of other projects to focus on after all.

Well that's great news. Hopefully when it's out a stable release of 1.8 will be near, so I can simply upgrade & add together in one swift sexy 60 minutes of awesomeness.

So all we need notification system, profile comments and modern cool default theme for mybb.
If mybb would have it, it will beat XF!

Not sure it's that simple bud. You can get profile comments already with MyNetwork though.

We won't be adding a notification system or profile comments. That's not planned for the 1.x series.

As for a modern default theme then you can count on that.

It's funny how this notification system private plugin is so unknown for so many members. It's been hold as a secret for quite a long I guess. It's a shame that I don't have 40 bucks... I'd be the third person using it :/. I'm pretty sure that many members don't understand how useful it is.. otherwise this would be a very requested plugin. Well I'm really offtopic, sorry

It's requested all the time. It's probably the most in demand plugin here.

MyNetwork's Notifications is mainly an events system - nothing special. Me and time don't like each at the moment though...

Profile System for 1.8 is looking hot though.
