I'm surprised that suit is still going on. They should've seen it coming though.

Make a nice fruit salad.

Well, comparing a free software to a paid one is like comparing Apples and Oranges.

Really? Because, I know Drupal, Joomla, and WP constantly get compared to paid alternatives.

Really.

Paid software should, in theory, have more features.
Ok, but theory is not reality. I think it's totally justified to compare MyBB to paid software. Not all of us are using MyBB because we can't afford to do otherwise.
I like both xenforo and mybb and use both (currently one xenforo and one mybb personally) with 2 large clients doing very well on xenforo
I don't see any reasons to spend money for XF because it isn't much better than MyBB.

Seeing one coming and actually going through one are two entirely different things, though. :/

Mybb also has not been updated for a long time. We are still waiting for 1.8.

MyBB 1.8 is in active development. From the looks of it, Xenforo isn't.

Not sure how you connected release time to Twitter updates.

One thing we do know is that 1.8 is coming and that user suggestions are still being incorporated into the software. That's pretty great, to me.
