I recently downloaded version 2.2 of this mod for my forum; I cannot get it to work on my default theme at all. No images are resizing. I have a couple of other themes where the plugin does work, but this is my main theme and is full of template edits....

I have tried swapping the .css from a working theme to the main theme and the problem persists - this led me to believe that the problem had to be in my templates. I went through ALL the templates, checking against a template set that does work, and all the fit on page plug in info appears to be there.

I then tried changing the template set that the theme was based on and yup, its the templates (I think). Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for or are my templates just screwed? If it is the templates rather than me incorrectly installing the plug in, can anyone advise where I should be asking for more help?

This is my board www.leefish.nl/mybb/ and I have made a user called testuser - password test. The resizer is working fine on Realise, its not working on Grunge. I dont have quick theme installed, so I am sorry, its edit options in the UserCp to change it...

I really need some help please, as this is one of my "must have" plugins....
How do I remove the topbar, but still resize the picture?
Hello, is there anyway to apply the resizing to images pulled into the pro portal announcements? That would be most helpful!
I haven't got it to work for that - but I am seriously considering swapping most of my forum over to Xthreads as the forums posts can be shown as announcements and you can specify the image size in the portal announcement via the template.
just installed, seems to work great Big Grin

thanks

We've resolved the above issue in PMs and thought I'd put an update here for everyone.

The above issue was found to be caused by Opera's handling of element width in javascript. When returning the width of an element opera included the padding and border width in to the width and the plugin then tried to resize thinking its oversized.

The above issue however should only come about if you have css padding and/or border around your images which was the case here since the images that were being resized were the thumbnails of attached images which have both a padding and a border around them.

The issue has now been fixed and the updated code was passed on to Jockl who tested and confirmed that it works.
The updated code will be included in the next revision.

Sorry - G33K - but I do have a similar issue again. Blush

If I change the zoom of the Firefox-browser i get this problem again. It does not appear at IE or Opera but the FF 3.6 shows the 1%-issue if you increase the zoom. Do you have any idea for a solution? Btw: I still use 1.4

Thank you! Smile

Edit: it seems to be resolved. I changed border and padding at img.attachemt to 0.
Does this work with 1.6?

Does "Fit on Page" plugin works ok with 1.6 ?!
Because the last update for it was on Sep 2009:

it´s working but isn´t auto-inserting any tags in templates after activation.

And only in "showthread" template. Portal page didn´t resize too ("portal.php" Renamed to "index.php")

Maybe g33k update this properly soon - That´s what I hope so Smile
