Any word on an update for 1.8?

PLease make a new plugin for image resize even if mybb supports it.

In 1.8, fitonpage.js gives me undefines is not a function error on line 230:

Event.observe(window, 'load', fitonpage.init);

So I guess it's unusable.

Is there any alternatives to this plugin, or any quick css solutions?

It will not work with 1.8 so you just got to wait until it has been updated for 1.8 or another similar plugin becomes available.

why? MyBB 1.8.0 has this function in core - auto resizing images

AFAIK it doesn't give you the option to view the image in its original size, or customize the dimensions it will resize them to.

right click on the image
