Do you have the setting to check email addresses enabled?

I *think* if cURL isn't enabled PHP will spit an error.

Also, do you have "all criteria must be met to deny registration" set to no?

I reset the twitter stuff and entered the new....still nodda.

Settings attached:
I'm having a few issues with this plugin. For starters, we get a 'can't open file' error after the registration is submitted (this happens at random times and goes away when the plugin is disabled). Second, it seems like spammers are still able to register while it's loaded. I did not find the log file anywhere either. We do have cURL running on the server.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I have v. 1.6.3. Where is the spam-block plug-in option panel located? I've installed the plug-in.

Thanks!

Anyone able to help with these latest issues?

Has the sfs_log.php file been created? If not maybe try the instructions above. Also, the plugin is definitely activated right?

In settings under Stopforumspam.com check.

It does now, yes.....and every time it says Error: StopForumSpam.com cannot be reached
That means StopForumSpam.com is down or possibly they firewalled you or something. Maybe ask for help on their forums.

I think you are right...but I never set them to block? How do I make the exception?
How do I remove them from being blocked by my server? Or are you saying they are blocking me?
I'm not sure, I doubt you blocked them unless you're on a shared/free host that has some issue with them or something, in which case you would have to contact your host. Otherwise it's possible that another site on your shared server which uses your IP was banned for abusing their services or something, you would have to ask at SFS.
