Ok added new version with new features:
- New settings (you can customize PM Title, PM Message, and the output of the tag, if you want to prepend @ at the username you can do it now).

The bad is that i rethought the system, the advantage is a less number of queries done per post as there isn't an additional table, the good is that this is a stable release so breaking changes will not happen in next releases (as i finally thought an efficient system), this means older tags will not be available in next release as i rethought the system, i'm sorru.

Before i said that it was possible to upgrade from older versions, well unfortunately i found some weaknesses that lead me in rethinking the system.

Also now the plugin is translatable and i added 2 hooks tagging_tag_added, tagging_tag_removed (read the documentation for some info).

Do you expected many more updates? (Like anything planned?

don't know.

But the next updates will not break compatibility with the older ones as i will explain how to backup the tags.

That is exactly what I'm trying to say. It doesn't work. I've installed the plugin and when I type @username or @[username] the user never gets tagged.

Give me more info as this plugin has been tested and i don't face this issue.

What username you're using?

I am using the username Babui
and trying to tag jib123

Should be @[jib123] not @jib123
