Isn't that what all frameworks do? You load things like helpers, libraries, etc; when they are needed?

Or am i misunderstanding what you said?

Not all of them. Actually, a good deal don't.
I'm sorry, I haven't been following the thread, will it have css3 PIE?
No, I'm not sure why you would need CSS3 PIE. All it does is add javascript to make some CSS3 features work in browsers that don't yet support it that well. Hopefully by the final release of 2.0 most css3 features will be widely supported.

well by end of 2.0 people will still be using ie 8.0 (windows xp)
I would really hope people would move past Windows XP by then. Considering Windows 8 is set to come out this year. And, they would be able to use newer versions of Chrome and Firefox. Nothing says they will only use IE. Especially since most of the people who stuck on XP had some technical understanding (thus will won't use IE) or don't care about how a site looks to much since they aren't technical savy and only get a computer every 8-10 years.

And, if you design your site well it should still look pretty good without CSS3 effects.

yeah, well I know how to do a pixel perfect design so don't worry about that. And I agree with what you said how most of them may not even care how a site looks and they're mostly tech savvy and/or use more modern browsers. But I have some relatives in Korea which still use ie8 and their parents don't allow them to download things on computer so they can focus on their education.

Why not remove the microsoft OS and install a linux distro ? This would allow a modern web browser plus an education slanted OS. You seem to have gone slightly 'off topic' as surely we are talking of how this project develops in the future and perhaps the best framework for the design team to work with, IMHO mybb should continue to develop their own framework, which will therefore make minimal disruption to users of their software in the future.
lol yeah he's gonna convince a bunch of non-tech savvy people to install linux

which distro do you use ? some distro' s are pointed at non-tech savvy people .. I have had good success teaching people of 70+ years old to use a linux distro .... but as I said before this is off topic
