Nothing much really, it was a management decision to use Yii instead. But also Alex's reasons.

Writing a forum system from scratch isn't easy. If you want to make something decent, that is.

i hope its worth the wait.

I highly doubt the wait will be 2-3 years, but again, it's not like we'll see an RC tomorrow.

Just be patient.
