They also allows Google checkout.

Actually, we offer Google Checkout upon request. Under 18s CAN purchase through PP and buy our services without signing up for PP - it's fairly straightforward and the option to pay without registering is given during the sign up process.

Whether or not an individual is under 18 and uses PayPal to pay us is not really my concern. They can use a parent's account if they so wish, and if they want to risk it by getting their own account then they can do so, or they can pay without registering for PP.

Hardly trivial.

Are you French Canadian by any chance?
OK, I can see it now

All kids on a forum, kid moderators, kid admins, kid webmaster. All arguing over cookies,

That is the biggest lie I have ever heard, honestly. MyBB.com, a site developed not for adults, but for MyBB users. I am sure sites that "kids" designed are not just for "kids"

Allowing what to happen? To allow "kids" to use the internet? You are making it sound like a crime.

Well, I can tell you know, "kids" are under 18 so about 80% of the staff here, if not more would be on the "kids" site, and about 90% of the MyBB members would be following.
Im 14 and I run a Website. I really didn't know that you would have to be a certain age to run a website. However, I do know that you need to be a certain age to use Paypal.
When you are a "MINOR", you are not old enough to take "LEGAL" responsibility of a "LAWSUIT" no matter what part of the world your in. So any website Domain Company offering this contract will not want to get involved with anybody under 18. I can assure you that!
MyBB was founded when Chris was underaged. Also the current design is designed by Justin who's not 18 yet. I am not sure what you're trying to tell us. Every country has it's own internet policies and most don't have strict ones and if they don it's hard for them to monitor. For example in Iran it's as hard for an adult as for a child to get on Twitter. The internet should be a place for everyone where they can express themselves. It shouldn't matter what age they are. I don't like to be judged by my age either and it seems like you are judging people by their age and not their maturity level.

I do believe he was referring to back when the net really got started in the early/mid 90s and not 2004 or whenever. I believe it was 2004 MYBB was founded?

You mention maturity and yet this subject seems to be upsetting you ( along with a few others ) and or you/they are feeling attacked. This has everything to do with maturity believe it or not. Why the need to feel judged unless you are guilty of such? Maturity has very little to do with knowing how to run a website/code and alot with how you react in situations andsuch. Like with anything there is always EXCEPTIONS but they are that just exceptions and nothing more.

Maturity comes from experience more then anything else. It ofcourse starts at home with what your parents teach you and at school. But the rest is taught in the outside world via lessons through interaction with others and or life in general. There is reasons why you cant vote till you are 18 or buy alcohol till you are 21, view/buy porn till you are either 18-21 etc etc etc. Ofcourse in other countries some of this is different. All of it is based on maturity levels of people that age. Look at it this way as well. How many teens do you know dating people in their mid/upper 20s or older? You can guess why you don't see it that often and or why it is not common plus depending on where you are if under 18 ( could be 17-16-15-14-13 ) it is called rape. Maturity has every bit to do with why such laws are on the books.

I applaud the amount of children who learn quickly but we have to have some sorta balance towards there daily activity and there futur.

But parents should also encourage creativity in children. As I know when I was there age I was eathier studing or doing my homework on paper or outside playing with my friends in the real world. SchoolTime and Playtime was probally the ONLY time I had on my hands. We didint have computers THANK GOD!

Today our kids are lacking creativity in the real world and parents are just throwing computers at there kids like its chocolate fudge. Here you go son I wont have to worry about you now.

Hello!!! Where has this real world gone to????

I know some of you might say im old fashion...

I wish I could encourage alot of these children on here a more creative development outside of this virtual world, where they could go outside with there friends and not be on a computer so much.

Kids should be outside playing NO?
May I ask, how old are you Technoman?
