This has everything to do with maturity believe it or not. Why the need to feel judged unless you are guilty of such? Maturity has very little to do with knowing how to run a website/code and alot with how you react in situations andsuch. Like with anything there is always EXCEPTIONS but they are that just exceptions and nothing more.
So because I am a minor I should not be allowed to ask questions and you think because I am a minor I am getting upset by this thread because my majority level can't handle it?

Ever heard of curiosity?

I applaud the amount of children who learn quickly but we have to have some sorta balance towards there daily activity and there futur.

But parents should also encourage creativity in children. As I know when I was there age I was eathier studing or doing my homework on paper or outside playing with my friends in the real world. SchoolTime and Playtime was probally the ONLY time I had on my hands. We didint have computers THANK GOD!

Today our kids are lacking creativity in the real world and parents are just throwing computers at there kids like its chocolate fudge. Here you go son I wont have to worry about you now.

Hello!!! Where has this real world gone to????

I know some of you might say im old fashion...

I wish I could encourage alot of these children on here a more creative development outside of this virtual world, where they could go outside with there friends and not be on a computer so much.

Kids should be outside playing NO?
So as an 16 year old I should be biking around in me neighborhood and do what? Buy crack on the street corner? There isn't much exciting stuff to do outside as a minor except going to parties where minors do illegal activities such as drinking and drugs.

Also I am a designer and a vivid developer and I love designing with technology, not sure if that effects my creativity level. I guess my creativity just goes automatically 40 points down because I use a mouse and touch pad to design and not a brush and pencil.

No.. I am not saying that at all. Far from it. All should always ask questions when in doubt.

Now a couple of things.. Your reply came across as defensive and it still is. I say defensive because you are questioning my motives based on you being a minor. And now condescending by asking me if i ever heard of curiosity?

proper response/non condescending/Non defensive would be..
"I am just curious to know. Is it ok to ask questions?"

And that is it and i would have replied, "No i am not saying that at all. All should always ask questions when in doubt."

Yes i admit i have not constantly followed that either and really we all should. That alone i believe would make this place so much better and more attractive/professional. Smile

Sure there are plenty of things to do at your age.

Just to give you some sorta Idea on what I did at your age... I worked + school + homework. Smile

You are a very boring human being if the only exciting "outside" things you can thing of are "illegal activities." Use your imagination.

Hmmm 16?
Besides work-during summer/school the rest of the time. I surfed ( not in winter though ) and did other stuff with my friends, dated, etc. I was rarely inside except to sleep. Was always something to do. My problem was not enough time to do it all and back then we did not have this internet. This was back in the mid 80s. Toungue I cannot imagine being that age again and just hanging out on here all the time. Oh heck no..

You kinda misssed the whole rebellion stage, tis good. Outside of school you can sneak out at night to see friends, go to parties, date, just generally socialise. But doing stuff you're not supposed to is what makes that stage of life so great.

I at 13 do all that, and will continue to so that, except the homework bit. Yet, I still find 6 hours a day to come on here.

We have the responsibility as a Adult, Has anyone ever heard the word "responsibility?" Sometimes an accident can be prevented to the responsibility of the adult if we were to follow the legal laws being the Parent and the Owner of the site!

Looks like your saying Why should it matter you let a 13 year old on your site regardless the laws? Did you not ever think that if we stuck with the laws there would be less accidents and law suits? Someone like myself wants this to stop completly. They are alot of faults for these tragic accidents that happen online. But maybe I'm the ONLY person who is concerned?
I really don't see what the fuss is about. A 13-year-old posting on the same site as a 30-year-old is no different than a 13-year-old having a conversation with a 30-year-old so really there's about as much logic in your argument as there would be if you disapproved of young teenagers and pre-teenagers talking to adults in real life. You're acting pretty self-righteous.

I agree. Doing what you're told at that age is just boring.

Lol you must be joking. There's a hell of a lot more to life then school and homework. It's way to short and you need to make the most of it. Making use of technology is one of those things that help you make the most of it Smile

So any website Domain Company offering this contract will not want to get involved with anybody under 18. I can assure you that!
Why are you letting this bother you so much? If someone wants to make a site, regardless of age and gender, it's none of your damned business. It's their own personal website. Any problem with payments and such are problems I'm sure almost every host encounters with people from any age group. I would be very surprised, even shocked, if problems like the ones your describing are isolated solely to minors.
