Honestly I would say it depends on the host. If it's a free host I would assume anyone can. However if your a minor paid hosting may be out of reach without consent just because it's harder to get a way to pay in your name.

I didn't read the whole thing. So sorry if this has been pointed out.

I started running a site when I was about 10, it was a free domain. I was 13 when I started my first real site, with a .net domain and hosting and everything, I use a gift card for anything that I need online. As long as you take precautions, why shouldn't kids be allowed to use any website? Unless of course it was adult focused then you could place a coopa on it and other then that you really couldn't do anything else.

Adults should be in control of what their kids do. They should set the rules and tell their kids and to be safe on the internet. Now I hate it when parents completely invade privacy, thats bad. But parents should still control the internet.

IMO
According to Canadian law reading all of it, once you hit AOC your fine. Until then you just have to ask mom or dad. (or pretend to)
Furthermore, if a child does enter a contract parents are only liable if and only if they failed to instruct their child not to do that.

If parents actually believed that they are held 100% accountable and liable for all actions of their children online, Im sure then Parents would have no choice to supervise their own children on the net 24/7 BUT we all know here that the problem is in todays society, parents just dont eathier have the time or they simply dont care!
