I have a few questions that I'm sure you should be allowed to answer
1. When disallowing a certain admin permission, will the the ACP link to that feature still be visible or will it become invisible to that particular user?
2. Is the modCP for supermods only? If it's for board mods as well, can you disable it for them so it's only usable for supermods?

Think again UNLESS your talking about the beta testing/testers. That supposedly takes a month and so it may not be till perhaps Nov when the rest get it which yeah really sucks. I say that because i dont believe they have set up the beta testers as of yet. Either way we are looking at atleast a month.

There is nothing to 'set up' really. The beta testers are more than likely to be those who have proved their knowledge in MyBB via plugins/modifications, bug reporting, translators, etc.
But now.. back to predicting.

I believe 1.2.10 is coming out first as well.

Ok lets put it this way. The beta testing has yet to begin. Which means again atleast a month wait BEFORE everyone else can get thier hands on it.
Chris said that beta testing won't take so much time as the beta testing period of 1.2.
Can you apply for 1.4 beta testing somewhere?
No. The staff will select beta testers, based on their community activity.
