It's been said many times now, there is no official date of release for 1.4 because nobody knows when it will be released.

The thread is titled "When do YOU think 1.4 will come out?" - not "Ask everybody else when 1.4 will come out"

As a programmer myself I understand why the MyBB Group won't give out any dates.

What if that date isn't met?

A flood of angry users will be posting all up and down the internet about how the MyBB Group fell through on their promise. That is the last thing they want.

It takes time to provide a quality product to the masses.

You just gotta ask yourself which you would prefer:

A) A bugged product that was released way before it was ready.

Or.

B) A virtually bug-free and stable product that was released when it was ready to be given out to the masses.

So just sit back, be patient, and you'll get what you have been wanting this entire time.

A stable, reliable product that is feature rich.

Just tell us this (if you can): will it be released in 2008?

since they didn't finish 90% of I don't think they can give any date..

MyBB 1.4 is going to turn out like PHPBB.... we'll get 1.4 in 2011.

But if there's a chance that it won't, it'll be a very very little chance.
