Cheap shot . Why do they do that though. I don't understand why they shut the site down before a release. I mean couldn't you just put a floating timer on every page so people and still well look around at least.

do not think it will be out before 2008 as i remember seeing some were that a staff member said that this forum will have it a week or 2 before we can it or some thing like that.

Well, with two days left, it is not looking even remotely like release. Which is a big shame,

I think it will come out in August 2011, 5 years after MyBB 1.2.

C'mon people. Our estimation was before the end of 2007. In reality nothing has changed. MyBB will be out when it's ready.

How many percent of MyBB 1.4 are ready? ^^

This is perhaps the one time where i agree with Developers about not mentioning release dates. Heck even i figured this would atleast be out by the new year especially considering the original estimated date was for July.
May help to give a update of just exactly what IS going on. Would be TOTALLY different if no dates or estimations at all were given.
