Why is that tmhai? That wouldn't be very fair to the person that went out on a limb and chose a later date than most.. No one knows other than MyBB Staff and that's the beauty of the contest

The old entries are still saved and valid for the prize. It has been recreated so that new and old users will get the same number of entries (or else new users will be able to submit 7 new guesses

I won't give a specific date, but I think it's 6 to 8 weeks away.

Of course I don't know the release date of 1.4 (not even Dennis or Chris knows that), but considering that beta testing was just recently started I think it will take 6 to 8 weeks to make it as bug-free as possible.
But it might take less amount of time if you let more people beta test it.
