You could go in your ACP to Tools & Maintenance -> AutoMedia, deactivate all the listed Modules and check again.
Yes it works
If you don't need to embed any own flash or mp3 files you could leave it deactivated.
All external media like YouTube, Twitter etc. are not affected by this settings and still get embedded .

Otherwise you have to activate one by one again and check which module causes the error.
When I disable the 7, the error disappeared

Please upload the attached file into inc/pugins/automedia/mediasites/ , activate mp3 again an check it.

I'm still trying to find the exact cause for the error.
Could you please try this file too and report back? If it doesn't work you can still use the file from above.

Version 3.1.1 (build #6)
  • Mediaelement player updated to version 3.0.0
  • Language files updated
  • Fixed: mp3 module causing server error with PHP version 5.4.* and older

Upgrading:
  • Upload the complete content of the Upload folder into your forum home directory and overwrite the existing files.
  • In ACP -> Configuration -> Plugins deactivate AutoMedia and activate it again.
  • In ACP -> Templates & Style -> Templates -> run Find Updated Templates. If there are any automedia templates listed, revert them (and possibly reinsert your own code.)
