The plugin suddenly caused crash of the index page, once the plugin is deactivated, index page is working again with no problem, any suggestions what to do?

and what does "crash of the index page" mean in fact

We have activated google adsense with no problem since 1 week. Yesterday, the index page gives http error 500, other forum pages were working good
We stopped adsense and tried to deactivate many plugins with same problem of index page error still present
Deactivation of DVX Shoutbox fixed the problem. Reactivation causes the issue to occur again
please check the error log of the server what triggers this 500
or activate the error display in acp and try again; without error message we can only guess
nothing else changed? week later google adsense shouldn't be the issue
Anybody know the code to manually add this shoutbox into the forum index template? I have activated the plugin but nothing is showing up.
