Wildcard, the side boxes location configuration currently has the following options:



Would it be possible to increase the possibilities of locating the side boxes?

Example: Imagine that I chose to put the side box to appear on the forumsdisplay.php pages. In the current version of the plugin, the box chosen will be the same in all the options below:

Would it be possible to add the option to choose the "FID" of forumdisplay.php where the side box will be positioned?

In this way, we can put different boxes depending on the "FID" of the pages Forum Display.

My forum was working fine with this but now it doesn't. It just shows up a blank page when I load my index page

In the first series (for 1.6) we had long discussions about how to accomplish adding FID requirements to individual side boxes and I was never quite able to visualize the interface. Now that I am looking at your question, I can see a way to add that to the script definition and thus, to any side boxes added to that script...

The problem is that I have been working 7-12s for months now and cannot find time to work on my plugins.

I absolutely love working on this plugin and miss being able to keep it updated and make improvements. I would welcome any help in terms of volunteer maintainers, but sadly I have never had anyone to step up.

Perhaps the tides will shift and I can add  this feature. Feel free to create an issue on GitHub which will help me remember when I do return with limited time to work.

You will need to provide more details for anyone to be able to help you solve the issue. Also, if you solved it yourself, please follow up so that people don't think the plugin is broken.

Not well, I'm afraid. I haven't actually made any progress at all other that some planning that was done months ago.

As I mentioned above, I am struggling to find time. I would graciously welcome any person who would like to volunteer to help me soldier on with this project. I have a GitHub organization already in place and a wiki full of information about the inner workings of this plugin, but unfortunately, I haven't even had a third-party addon developer in a couple of years.

I will eventually find time to get back to this, but it is a very real possibility that ASB will outlive its usefulness soon if something doesn't change.

What a great plugin, first of all!

I am setting up Adv Sidebox and I made a mistake by editing php files,

I got all configures except the forum goals (tried using ACP>Template) but the 'progress bar doesn't assume the alterations I did.

Are there any steps i should take, like:

• replace all files and do it all again
  
• just replace the php ones (tried it also)
  

• I've read here about getting things inactive while you do changes… are there any specific steps.

I feel kind of dumb because I couldn't find this, but how do I get the sidebox headers to look like my theme's header? I didnt' see an option.
