Requirement:

- Nodejs server to install Miuna Shoutbox server (you can use Openshift (free))
- Mybb 1.8

Support and Bug Report:

- Development of this shoutbox is ended. So support is very limited.
- Only secure issue will fixed or big bug.
- Only this thread can used to support request.
- I refuse support like problem related with custom theme caused due javascript error.
- I refuse support related with buttons caused by custom theme (Font awesome icons, bootstrap etc). Contact theme creator.

How install Miuna Shoutbox Server in Openshift:

1 - Create account in Openshift https://www.openshift.com/app/account/new
2 - Create new application (MEAN):



3 - Will open new page, so add information as image below:


In public Url: First textbox: miunashout
secound textbox: whatever you want

Scaling: No scaling (unfortunately this shoutbox does not work properly with scaling)

4 - Click in Create application

Ps. This step takes a long time, please have patience

5 - Now click in your server link:


6 - Check if open something below:


7 - Now click in "Server Configuration"

8 - Check if open something below:


9 - Complete all field

- Secret: put anything you want ex: some phrase etc. Recommended use default value.
Copy value in notepad (need this information after).

- Character limit: this is necessary to avoid abusing. Recommended use default value (700).

- Your forum link: put here link of your forum

10 - Click in "Save button" (Ps. If opened error page, so refresh (reload page) with F5 key)

11 - Check if appear something below:


Copy value of Miuna Shoutbox Server Link and Miuna Shoutbox Server Socket.io address. (need this information after)

12 - Click in Return to Openshift

13 - Now restart application again

Ps. This step takes a long time, please have patience

14 - Installation of Miuna Shout server in Openshift finished.

in step 5 put port 80 without https...

in acp, instead of http://miunashout-xxxxxx.rhcloud.com/ try use https://miunashout-xxxxxx.rhcloud.com/
of cource replace xxxxxx with your account...

Now is working, only minor issues with some smileys, no image appears only code... but shoutbox works fine
