We can add for one smilie more that one code, right? On topics this works good and we can create same smilie with two diffrent code but on ShoutBox it dosen't work and ShoutBox recognize only first code of smilie.

Martec is there any chance to run the chat on my own server instead of connecting it to an external server as OpenShift?
Is it the same safe?

And it would be fast? or heavy?

Yes, same smile with diffrent code. But I think I don't need it, because I bought and upload new emoticons. I have PSD and I can create emoticon for each code if I need it.

if you have VPS, you can try install node.js, mongodb etc... and run in your server... but you need experience in this, i will not support how install node.js etc in vps...

this is safe, use json web token (http://jwt.io/ ) to authenticate. And use HTTPS and WSS to comunicate with openshift.

so i installed this and the shoutbox just doesn't show. filled everything out, it's just not showing.

the only thing i think i could have done wrong is where it asked for 'You forum link' i put my site/forums
should i have put site/forums.index.php?

would that be an issue?

if your forum is site/forums/index.php ... so correct you put only site/forums ...
