I already added MyAlerts for may other plugins so i am sure all have on mind due i have experimented many errors since 2.0 of MyAlerts and 1.8.0 of MyBB arrives.

I went ahead to tried the one u added to Github @DarkNeo, but still doesn't work for me.
It intergrates with MyAlerts, but doesn't show on postbit nor show in editor.
@Ray2 that patchs only fixed the problems on install and with guests post or threads.
anyway i was tested and all have to works fine.
the problem related to your problem is due your used theme and editir for sure.
use default mybb theme and any of the editors working with this mod.
and finally if all goes bad uninstall it and install it again that should work. but with right theme for mybb in custom themes you have to add vars manually for additional things like automentions and buttons or more.
