my forum

the mybb version i'm running is 1603.

my problem is to do with admin log in.
it lets me do an initial log i and then if i try to access users, it makes me log in again before telling me;

No users were found matching the specified search criteria. Please modify your search criteria and try again.

i stayed logged in o the forum but not in admin. i checked all the cookie setting etc and can't find the problem. any help given will be greatly appreciated

So when you click another link in the ACP, you get logged out again...??

yes. that's correct.

I've got problem with this too,
everytime i log in, it says not logged in but if i click any links it's logged in. Check the cookie path and setting.php, it's ok.

Small problem:
When I use "quick login" I get the "you have successfully been logged in...".
Then get redirected to: http://mc-n&atilde/;¸glesvingerne.dk/forum/index.php ?
But that is a small problem - as I just remove quick login later!

Big problem:
When I try to login from: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/forum/member...tion=login
I get "you have successfully been logged in..." and is redirected to: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/forum/index.php
But I not logged in !?!

Another big one:
Trying to log in from: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/forum/admin/
I get redirected to: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/forum/admin/index.php
And im loged in.
But when I click any link in the admin dashboard I get redirected to: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/forum/admin/...ule=config
And is not logged in !?!

I 99% sure I got cookies set up right.

Anyone ?

It's most likely due to your IDN, in Chrome it changes the URL to something different which won't match the cookie settings... not really sure if there's a workaround for that.

What is my IDN ?

I have the problem on both my computers - in IE and FF

International Domain Name, meaning your domain has weird symbol characters that Chrome cannot understand.

I have followed this, and even used the tool. My cookie settings are correct.

I still have the issue of, when I attempt to log in it just goes back to index.php and say "welcome guest".

BUT.

If I, or any of my members, use my NavBar's log in button we can log in perfectly fine.

Can anyone explain this and give me a way to fix this issue please, it is more than a minor irritation and I can see it turning new members away from my site.
