Your Cookie Path is incorrect. It should be /forums/ however you currently have it set as http://www.lifepunch.net/forums/

Please change your settings by following the first post of this thread. Smile
Before I do that, could it be that the Cookie Path was changed by LeeFish to solve another issue as detailed here; http://community.mybb.com/thread-133675.html
I have installed mybb_1609. I can login but if i click on ANY link I am required to login again, but the login page just reloads.

I have downloaded and changed settings.php
$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".example.com";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

"Then, you MUST go to 'ACP > Configuration > General Configuration"
But i cannot, because as soon as I click Configuration I am back to the login page.

Any assistance with this? Website is perthcats.org/forum

Thanks
$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".perthcats.org";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forum/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

Thank you - I have this in the settings.php
$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".perthcats.org";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forum/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

Now when I try to login I get "The username and password combination you entered is invalid."

Sorry - not a clue what to do next.
Thanks for any help
Follow instructions in the first post.
I have checked everything said above, Everything was correct. And also the settings.php regenerated too. But when anybody logins its not at all logging in but when we do shift + reload then its logging in. So need help its not just for login/logout its affecting of new threads/ new posts. They are not updating unless we do shift + reload.

Need help please.

Have you tried clearing your Browsers cache and cookies? Perhaps adding a cookie Prefix might also work...

I'm quoting this because I think it got overlooked.
