pavemen, MyBBpublisher (1.4.3) just worked fine on my site, I move to a better and paid hosting, I think the problem was that my site didn't allowed me to send this kind of stuff to Twitter and Facebook.

I checked the API and it's saved correctly, and in the settings bit.ly is activated for both twitter and fb.
(And : no, that problm was there already before i upgraded to publisher 1.6.2, and it's still there).

If you check your account at Bit.ly, does it show any shortened URLs? If not, then the plugin is not making it there. If so, then something is happening after the URL is shortened.
That's all set correctly, and it worked fine for a couple of weeks (ca. 30 sortened urls).

Is there an option to add that to thread options (close / delete thread) like publish thread
instead of moving or writing the thread in spceific forum ?
no, there is not an option to force a thread to be published. is this a request for that feature?

Assuming you have made the app already...
Log into Twitter then go to
http://dev.twitter.com (or click the Developers link in the right panel)
Then click Your Apps at the top
Then click the name for the app you made
Scroll down to the OAuth section and get the Consumer Token and Secret
Click the button on the right that says My Access Token and copy that info.

do you use any other plugin that uses bit.ly? it could be a conflict of the variable names between plugins
No, no other, and no other application outside the forum uses the same api.
